Happy Advent & Merry Christmas to you all! This year, to change things up a bit, I decided to do our annual Christmas gift guide myself! I'm Susie, owner of Leaflet Missal and one of our product curators. Christmas has always been a fun time of year at Leaflet - decorating the store, finding new gifts to stock, and interacting with our customers.

In my family and Catholic home, the Advent and Christmas holiday season has always been a much-anticipated time of Christian anticipation, reflection, and celebration. It is so important to properly celebrate Christmas and the joy of Christ's coming in our Catholic homes! It is a time to share hope, peace, love, and Christian joy.

One of the most exciting pieces of my job is that I get to look at every single product that comes in our doors. We carry over 10,000 Catholic products and each year we go through the entire catalog to refresh and bring in new trending products.

I am so excited about the "Princesses of Heaven" book this year. All little girls dream about and obsess over the Disney princesses; so a book about Catholic saints illustrated by a Disney artist is so exciting! I wish I had this book when I was a little girl!

The home is the heart of Catholic life - the "domestic Church" as Lumen Gentium coined it. But does your home show it? These pieces help make it a place of prayer, beauty, and peace — from Nativity scenes to sacred art that keep Christ at the center of daily life.

These are great to have for witnessing to guests in your home, showing importance of faith to your children, and bringing Catholic beauty in.

Advent and Christmas invite us to slow down and reflect. After Christmas, in Winter, time slows down a bit for most families. Use this as an opportunity to deepen faith life through books. Sharing a good read can go a long way.

Last Lent, I read the "Dolorous Passion of Christ" and shared with my small group at Church how much I enjoyed it and learned from it. They were very excited and a few of them even bought it for themselves!

Gifting to someone who recently rediscovered their faith or is a new member of the Church? We are blessed to have so many beautiful and unique devotions in our Catholic faith - introduce them to something new that they may not know about yet!

We’re always discovering beautiful new Catholic gifts. For as long as I've been picking products for our catalog, I'm often surprised by what new products take off. Sometimes we place fun bets with each other trying to predict which ones will be most popular (it's harder than it sounds!).

One of my favorite vendors to work with has a few new products that are already selling well, including the new Sacred Heart of Mary Earrings and Bracelet! She crafts handmade jewelry and rosaries with quality components in so many unique styles.
