Jesse Tree Banner Kit

I grew up Cradle Catholic but never read the Bible until I was in my mid-20's. I was determined to make sure my children were familiar with the Bible as children. I have been using this, and the Jesus Tree for Lent, for over a decade, and it has lasted through the years. My oldest is 25 and has good memories of reading the Bible every night and hanging the ornament. This is one of the tools I used to make sure my kids know the Bible. My youngest is now 6 and he's copying big brother, reading verses every day and hanging an ornament. I love this so much!

I bought this kit at least 12 years ago, and weve been using it ever since. Its become such a fixture in our Advent traditions Its a fun way to pass along Salvation history. Its wonderful to see the older children hold up the ornament and tell the Bible story behind it without having to read the passage. _x000D_
One thing Ive done as the years have passed is to add a little velcro dot to the back of each ornament to help it stick to the felt tree. No need to put the other side of the dot on the tree or banner, it sticks just fine to the felt.
