Blue wool scapular has badge showing Our Lady of Lourdes, "the Immaculate Conception" with St. Bernadette on one wool piece and the back of the Miraculous Medal (cross, "M", Sacred Hearts, 12 stars) on the other.

St. Bernadette lived as humble shepherdess before receiving the vision of Our Lady, who identified herself as, "I am the Immaculate Conception" She is patroness of those ridiculed for their piety, the sick and those who suffer from other bodliy afflictions. She is also one of the Saints whose body remains incorrupt!
