Tells the story of little Bernadette Soubirous, a poverty stricken, pure hearted young woman who is the recepient of visions from "The Beautiful Lady". No one believes her and she is dismissed even by church authorities as being fanciful, a troublemaker. and even crazy. She perseveres though and after being threatened and attacked, she meekly stands her ground and avows that the apparitions really happened. The film also includes info about her life in the convent. A great movie for anyone who is interested in knowing more about the apparitions at Lourdes, France!
