Beautiful Benedictine Crucifix

I bought this for my special needs nephew who is making Confirmation. It is a nice, small size with great detail to the medal and the corpus. The chain seems sturdy but the ring connecting the chain to the crucifix does not. I will bring it to a jeweler to have a durable ring soldered on.
