Few words remind us of the solemnity of the Lenten season more than Ecce Homo, or "Behold the man." The words Pontius Pilate used when he presented the scourged Lord Jesus crowned with thorns to the gathered crowd. This Catholic rosary features black Lava beads, reminding us of the dark tomb in which Christ would lie in for three days, and a nail/crown of thorns design crucifix, with centerpiece featuring the suffering and crowned Lord with Mary on the reverse.
