This gorgeous hand-painted, plaster statue features the mother of Saint Augustine; a man who would go from pagan to a Doctor of the Church writing about the true God. Yet his conversion is traditionally credited to his mother, prayerful Monica who pleaded with God for years that her son be saved from his sinful ways. She is patroness of parents who have children that have fallen away from the Church.
