St Philomena Patron Saint Statue
Italian Art Catholic Statuary
Holy Philomena is known as the patroness of those suffering bodily ills, seemingly impossible situations, children and infertility. This young woman's remains were found in 1802, in the catacombs of Rome, and the symbols on her crypt indicated she was a martyr. After a shrine was built for her, miracles of healing and reports of cures started pouring in! She is the person canonized based solely on reports of her intercession, since nothing is known about her life.
Measures 4 x 1.25", hand-painted details with gold leaf trim.
Comes with beautiful Italian art prayer card with Novena on the back.
