What can a mysterious woman praying in a dark cemetery teach us about the souls in Purgatory? Follow a group of friends in this children’s book as they discover the true meaning of Halloween. Through Hulga May’s haunting tale, our characters uncover the power of prayer and penance for the Holy Souls. Drawing on the sacred days of All Hallows', All Saint’s and All Soul’s, modern day Halloween becomes instead the meaningful celebration of faith it’s supposed to be.

As a Catholic who loves Halloween

As a Catholic who loves Halloween, I really enjoyed this book. I thought the author did a great job writing an interesting, engaging "scary story" that also represents the Catholic faith. The only drawback (maybe) is that it rhymes, and I wasn't always able to keep the "flow" mentally. Not a deal breaker. Good book.

I love this book and gave it to our great-granddaughter

I love this book and gave it to our great-granddaughter. The story has a little bit of spookiness, to satisfy today’s cultural “Halloween;” but more importantly a profoundly spiritual and moral message.
