This reproduction of a classic piece of Catholic art entitled, "For God So Loved the World" is both beautiful and mysterious. The original painter of this piece is unknown to this very day, yet it adorns the walls of many homes and churches because of the visceral, intense way it depicts the Lord Jesus Christ. The Latin verse at the bottom reads, "Sic Devs Dilexit Mvndvm" (V's are often used for U's in old Latin verse) and means, "For God So Loved the World".
