White wool scapular has badge with a gold "A" and blue "M" (shorthand for Ave Maria) on one wool piece, and a crowned shield on the other, symbol of the Mercedarian order founded by St. Peter Nolasco. The order was founded to redeem Christian captives and so this scapular focuses on acquiring salvation, freedom from evil and mercy from God!
